The cover photograph was taken in Scarborough on the North Yorkshire coast in 2008.
The sound of the sea was also recorded in Scarborough but this year in February 2014.
The acoustic guitar was recorded in 16bit WAV format using a portable 4-track field recorder in a polished wooden floored, hard walled room which provided natural reverb.
Some of the drones were made from stretched, reversed and other wise manipulated guitar recordings.
Others and the remaining instruments are native to Ableton Live 8.
The looping, arranging, composition and sequencing were all done in Ableton.
